Archibald Query of Somerville, Massachusetts, invented Marshmallow Creme, a sweet marshmallow-like spread that was invented in 1917. Emma and Amory Curtis of Melrose, Massachusetts, 1913, invented Snowflake Marshmallow Creme in 1913.
