The world contact day is the longest in history

In 1953, the International Flying Saucer Bureau (IFSB) announced the first World Contact Day. A telepathic message from IFSB members into space was sent on this day. "We are your friends, and we would like you to make a presence on EARTH," the message said. Please come in peace and help us with our EARTHLY problems. EARTHLY problems: Please come in peace and help us. Let us hear from you." Let us hear from you. Although the IFSB no longer exists, several individuals over the years have attempted to connect with aliens. World Contact Day was commemorated for a week in 2013.
