NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY – January 9
Mon Jan 9th

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

On January 9th each year, citizens around the country take the lead in showing their support for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Every rank and file law enforcement officers have chosen a career that puts their lives in jeopardy for their families every day. They've answered a call for public service that is both urgent and often unappreciated.

They are responsible for everything from local, state, and federal, as well as federal. The majority of the jobs are thankless, and they are often taken away from their families for long hours. They are extremely unlikely to know what their days have in store for them. Often, law enforcement are the only paid emergency service a community has. To make communities safer, they are more often working in collaboration with other local, state, and federal agencies..

On National Law Enforcement Day, we have the opportunity to thank them for their service and give them a token of appreciation.
