The national doctor's day in history is the first in the nation's day in history
On March 30, 1933, Winder, Georgia, celebrated the first Doctors Day. nd's wife, Eudora Brown Almond, wanted to celebrate physicians on a day to honor physicians. On this first anniversary in 1933, the community sent greeting cards and placed flowers on the graves of deceased doctors' graves. The red carnation is often used as the national doctor's Day symbol.
