Gold Star Spouses Day
On April 5th, Gold Star Spouses Day honors the surviving families of military service members who died while serving their country.
The day gives the spouses and their families remembrance, as well as a period of remembrance for their sacrifices. On this day, several communities and organisations host events to show their love for Gold Star families. They honor and commemorate fallen soldiers through ceremonies, teas, memorial races, and luncheons..
Our service members' service members' lives go beyond the battlefield and their contribution to their country. Many women and husbands who have been left homeless and husbands who have joined a special group that no one wants to join. We can only provide in return as a nation with our help, knowledge, and admiration.
