WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY IS a DAY OF HYPERTENSION.

Every year, May 17 is devoted to World Hypertension Day (WHD).

  • At least once a year, we should encourage the common public to obtain a blood pressure check every year
  • To encourage people with hypertension on a global basis, go to their health specialist for a regular checkup and proper care
  • All the common household, especially youth and young people, should have their regular weight, normal blood pressure, healthy eating, regular physical activity, and others
  • To encourage people to quit their unhealthy habits such as alcohol, lazy routine, oily and fatty diet, fried and spicy diet, obesity, overweight, and others, etc

Hypertension is a common occurrence in the United States. The force of blood flowing through your blood vessels is always too high. a. Hypertension is often described as the'silent killer' because it has no signs and can go unnoticed and untreated for years.

  • Around 4 in every ten adults over the age of 25 have hypertension, and in several countries, another 1 in 5 have pre-hypertension
  • Hypertension can be present in 9/10 adults over 80 years of age, according to an estimated
  • One half of the blood pressure related disease is found in people with elevated blood pressure levels that are not normal

Here are the numbers to watch if you've had your blood pressure checked.

  • Normal: Under 120/80
  • Prehypertension: 120/80 to 139/89: 120/80 to 139/89
  • Hypertension Stage 1: 140/90 to 159/99: 140/90 to 159/99. Hypertension Stage 1: 140/90 to 159/99. 139/90 to 159/99
  • Hypertension Stage 2: 160/100 or higher is the highest hypertension stage 2: 160/100 or higher
  • Hypertension Crisis: Above 180/110 is above 180/110

The day to raise the common public's concern of hypertension is WHL... On May 14 in 2005, the group unveiled the campaign for World Hypertension Day for the first time on May 14 in 2005, but it shifted to May 17 in 2006.
