In every household and office, this invention can be found on any household and office. Also known as invisible tape or Scotch Tape, this innovation can be found in every household and office. In 1930, Richard Gurley Drew (June 22, 1899 – December 14, 1980) invented the invisible tape in 1930. He made the tape from cellulose and originally called it cellulose tape. He started his career in 1920 in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he invented a masking tape for the automotive industry in 1925.
The new adhesive was originally intended to seal Cellophane bags sold in grocery and bakeries, but it fell short of its time. By the time all its drawbacks were resolved, DuPont introduced heat-sealed cellophane. Nonetheless, the Cellophane packaging contained some health benefits, but it did not have any.
3M discovered a market in both the home and the office with a resounding recommendation from customers. We're sure many of us have several rolls of it. Make sure you have the wrapping paper for a roll or two in the closet. Another item will be added to the junk drawer. Perhaps, there is another count on the desk. The tape is stored in large amounts in offices and schools, teachers, and students.
