Our flower gardens are in full bloom this time of year. It's often like a full time job to keep them hydrated. Caring for a living thing is often a therapeutic industry. They're loved, the more they're nurtured, the more they flourish.

Most plants prefer well-drained soil. If they are potted, they will need regular watering. Many that are homebound or in the hospital can also care for the gardens of those who are homebound or in the hospital. Taking the time to visit a friend who may need some cheering up by giving them some freshly watered flowers.
