#nationalhandrollday

With vibrant color, taste, and texture, Japanese sushi hand rolls delight the senses... Since every delicate hand roll is masterfully planned, the chef treats each one as a work of art. Also, a delectable dip into soy enhances the perfect bite. We love eating hand rolls with friends over sake, wine, or a Japanese beer, whether it's spicy or sweet, or a combination of both, we love it all.

A hand roll should be eaten right away and contains the freshest fish, and is ideal for a hand roll. Hand rolls also include specially harvested seaweed, house-made sauces, and warm rice.. The final product is not only stunning but also delectable as a result comes together.

History of the national hand roll day has a rich tradition.

The Sushi Nozawa Group, the company behind SUGARFISH, KazuNori, and Nozawa Bar, founded National Hand Roll Day to celebrate the hand roll and Chef Nozawa's introduction of the cylindrical-style hand roll to the United States over 40 years ago.

In 2014, Sushi Nozawa Group opened KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar on the belief that the experience of eating hand rolls is truly unique and deserving of its own restaurant. KazuNori crafts their hand rolls with only the finest fish, along with specially harvested seaweed, house-made sauces, and signature warm rice, all with an unwavering dedication to quality. Guests dined at the counter while watching the chef make their hand rolls in each location. And most importantly, they love them when the seaweed is at its best.

National Hand Roll Day will be celebrated on July 6th annually in 2019.
