The international animal rights day's history has dominated international animal rights day history
In 1998, Uncaged, the animal rights group, Uncaged, founded International Animal Rights Day. They had intended to emphasize all forms of violence against animals. Since animals can't vote, protest, or lobby for their own safety, humans must do it for them, according to the day's Founders. Uncaged's headquarters is located in Sheffield, England. They specifically selected December 10th for International Animal Rights Day because it falls with Human Rights Day. Even if they are a different species from humans, it's their desire to extend these same inalienable rights to all living creatures.
