International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women

On November 25th International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, a worldwide human rights issue, raises concerns regarding an ongoing human rights issue. Many women around the world are still vulnerable to rape and other forms of violence today.

Government officials and international figures have been leading the movement to reduce violence against women and girls for many years. It is also all too normal, sadly. Women violence continues to be a common and persistent human rights offender.

Many women and girls who have been victims of violent crimes against them do not seek assistance. Even though 144 countries have laws governing domestic violence, they are not always followed. History

Since 1981, women right's campaigners have celebrated a day against gender-based violence. The three Mirabal sisters were born on November 25th in honor of three Mirabal sisters. This day marks the start of 16 days of activism, which comes to an end on December 10th, Human Rights Day.
