Starting the week of Independence Day and ending with Hawaii, We began honoring each state in the order they entered the union. We've chosen a small piece of each state's past, foods, and the people who make up the state. Of course, many states have their own state celebrations, andour observances in no way replaces them. There's so much more to discover, but we can't help but celebrate our beautiful country even more.
National Spaghetti Day
On January 4th, there is the opportunity to select your sauce and add it to the long, thin cylindrical pasta of Italian and Sicilian origins. This pasta, which is usually made from semolina flour, has been a worldwide hit for decades and is loved by millions of people.

Those who accumulate and hoard tidbits of useless information are commemorated on National Day on January 4th. Well, National Trivia Day is a holiday, of course!
