National ferret day is the longest day in national ferret day history
National Ferret Day was celebrated for decades by ferret enthusiasts for decades. However, recognition didn't arrive until 2014, when Carol Roche of New York and the American Ferret Association made it possible. At that time, Chase's Calendar of Events officially recognized the observance.
