National I Am In Control Day

National I am in Control Day, March 30th, reminds us of a day when things were definitely out of control.'

A bullet was lodged in his lung during President Obama's rushed to surgery on a rainy afternoon, causing a remark. "I am in charge here in the White House as of now." These are the words of Secretary of State Alexander Haig, who swore the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981.

He was caught by the media for those words. Haig later revealed that he only meant that he was in charge until Vice President George Bush could be sworn in. At the time, Bush was en route and he was en route.

This was the start of National I am in Control Day, according to reports. This day has evolved and taken on a new sense.. It's a day to get things under control in your personal life on a day-to-day basis.
