On March 3rd, National I Want You to Be Happy Day encourages us to do what makes others smile. It also asks us to see others' happiness from their point of view. We love seeing a smile on someone's face as well as a one on ours.
Genuine happiness requires a lot of work. Though we aren't personally accountable for others' happiness, we do play a part in spreading joy and good cheer. From another person's perspective, one way to do that is to see happiness from another person's perspective. Happiness doesn't fit a mold. Everything from being a morning person or a night owl, a favorite season and seafood, can make or break a person's general idea of happiness. A person's overall experience throughout life gives them a unique perspective on happiness.
Being happy could simply be about quality rather than quantity.
