We are all born as amazing light detectors.. We intuitively note differences in color and brightness. And lighting designers know that a significant portion of human sensation is visual. People react emotionally to light and color, with its ability to pull us in, like moths to a glowing light. LED lighting has a profound effect on us in emotional, economic, and environmental ways.
Emotion
Unlike other light sources, LEDs can produce a more attractive display for a variety of environments. Let's say you travel by two gas stations. Station A is lit by bright white LED lights, while Station B's illumination varies from yellow to white, with one panel being dim. Since its color consistency is comforting, clean, safe, and high-quality, you will most likely head to Station A. You may not even be aware of that decision.
Economy
LED lights help reduce our energy bills by reducing our energy consumptions. We can save a lot of energy by the low power consumption, high availability, and long lifespan. They also minimize downtime over an LED fixture's lifetime.
Environment
LED bulbs that have been less updated also means that there are fewer bulbs are recycled and therefore no bulbs are thrown away. The national led light day is the longest daylight day in history
Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano, and Shuji Nakamura received the Nobel Prize in Physics on October 7, 2014 for the manufacture of blue light-emitting diodes. To understand why this was a Nobel-worthy achievement, we must know the history of LED lighting to understand why it was a Nobel-worthy achievement.
Only a red-colored light was produced in the early 1950s and early 1960s, and the first LEDs that were introduced in the late 1950s and early 1960s only produced a red-colored light. Slowly researchers invented other hues, but blue stumped them. Its shorter wavelength made it difficult to reproduce. With Akasaki, Amano, and Nakamura's design, white LEDs were now possible.
In May 2016, Bridgelux established National LED Light Day to honor one of the most significant scientific achievements in recent history. The day also commemorates the introductions of this versatile technology.
