TICK TOCK DAY – December 29

Tick Tock Day

Tick Tock Day, which is annually observed on December 29th, reminds us to finish any unfinished projects that may need to be addressed before the year's end..

As the end of the year approaches, several items warrant our attention.. Unfinished companies must be wrapped up before the end of the calendar year, and unfinished businesses must be shut down by the end of the year. Things such as larger company purchases and tax-deductible contributions for the tax year may need to be completed before December 31st.

Another thing to consider is your medical insurance policy. Does your deductible start over? Does your insurance start over? Is there a Flexible Savings Account with funds to use? Some companies provide annual insurance plans that will be lost if they aren't used by the year's end. Time is running out on this one.

Tick Tock Day can also be a day to reflect on personal goals. Did you finish reading that book? Our names appear on Bucket lists, not Bucket lists. Where do we want to go? We may also need to try some exotic foods, as well as some exotic foods. Perhaps your dreams are grander or simpler. Tick-tock, whatever they are.
