When is Holy Innocents Day?

Every year on December 28th, Holy Innocents Day is observed. As told in Matthew 2:16: The day commemorates the execution of the innocent, male children in Bethlehem.

King Herod's order was found in Matthew's account of the king's reaction to the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecy. Also known as the Feast of the Holy Innocents (and referred to as Childermas). This day is observed in both Western churches and Eastern churches on December 28th and Eastern churches on December 29th. By the Catholic Church, these children are regarded martyrs, Saints of God.
