When is International Plastic Free Day?

Plastic Free Day is a call to action that draws attention to the plastic we use every day. Plastic bottles, take-out food containers, utensils, bags, and wrappers will be used for one day on May 25th.

Since only 9% of all plastic is recycled, the majority of plastic ends up littering our streets, filling our landfills, and polluting our oceans.
