Terry Simons, the well-known and respected dog agility trainer and competitor, received troubling news in 2011. Lymphoma was diagnosed with Lymphoma by Simon's "heart and soul" dog, Reveille. Terry did everything he could for Reveille as an informed dog owner. However, he soon discovered how difficult accurate information regarding options and treatment could be. Terry was soon linked with professionals. They supported him in choosing the right path for his beloved companion.

Reveille did not only competed in dog agility throughout her recovery, but she thrived. She also had the best agility year of her career in her career. When Terry decided to let Reveille go, he knew he was making the correct decision for her. On the other hand, grief does strange things. It can destroy, but it can also inspire. Reveille's case inspired Terry's to establish a foundation. n Awareness and Research) in honor of Terry's in honor of Reveille's birthday, Terry created CLEAR (Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research). The foundation continues to support research and education into the devastating disease. The foundation dedicates its efforts to delivering data, resources, and analysis into the disease.
