Initially, the day encouraged people to listen to the tales centenarians had to tell. They have a wealth of information thanks to their rich history and wisdom. Centenarians were honored in a variety of ways as the holiday spread. Many people find that with age comes wisdom, as well as listening to their personal experiences.
According to the most recent estimates, there are approximately 72,000 centenarians in the United States alone. The youngest of those were born after the end of World War I and the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles was signed by Versailles. They represent a living past full of tales that were otherwise unhearded in history books. Their stories animate and complement what we already know. The events of the past are brought to a halt and magnify the events.
