When is National Honesty Day?

We are encouraged to be honest in all we do each year on April 30th, National Honesty Day.

We know the various types of lies. Just a little or maybe told an all-out whopper that we've saved someone's feelings or fudged the truth. We've all heard a lie or two if we've been on board.

This observance supports truthfulness. Whether we're doing company or speaking with our children, honesty goes a long way toward instilling confidence. We all make mistakes. We often don't know the answer or can't predict the outcome of a situation. However, we can influence our own behavior and words. We can't do what we do because we can speak the truth in all we do.
