National Read Across America Day - Dr. Seuss Day - March 2

All children and youth in every neighborhood around the United States are encouraged to celebrate reading this holiday. They can read wherever they are at anytime. These are some of the best ways to spark reading in children.

  • Keep books where you spend time. Keep books on hand. Put them in the car, in every room of the house, and tuck them into backpacks and purses. Make them easily available by making them readily available
  • Often visit the library. A love of reading as well as genuine admiration for the library's services libraries provide is aided by knowing how to use the library and discovering the benefits of a library.
