Tolkien Reading Day is a favorite among fans of the renowned author, celebrated around the world on March 25th.

J.R. Tolkien, an English writer, poet, philologist, and university professor (Jan. 3, 1892 – Sept. 2, 1973) was an English writer, poet, and university professor. He was best known as the author of the classic books The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarrillion, as well as Roverandom and Farmer Giles of Ham. Nevertheless, he has written more than 30 books, some posthumously. More than 150 million copies of The Lord of the Rings trilogy have been sold by the author, and the number continues to rise.

All readers of all ages are encouraged to read J.R. Tolkien's books and learn more about the author. With over 30 published works, he had a lot to say, not just about hobbits, although some are on medieval order..
