When is World Kindness Day?

Monday November 13th

We are encouraged to spread kindness like an infectious cold on November 13th, as part of World Kindness Day. Because studies show that when others see kindness in action, they are more likely to do an act of kindness. We want to share it more than ever.

WORLD KINDNESS DAY – November 13

Imagine if you went out for the day and your neighbor's garbage can had tipped over. Instead of ignoring it and allowing the wind make a mess, you pick it up and return it to the corner rather than ignoring it and allowing it to make a mess. On their way to work, three other neighbors smile and nod as they arrive.

On his commute to work, one of the few neighbors notices a stranded driver on the side of the road. He recalls your thoughtfulness and helps the stranded driver. Several passersby pay attention to the passing bystanders.

A woman struggles with a paper jam at a company's company office. She's had a rough day.' The customer is awaiting, but she remembers the stranded driver she passed earlier in the day. The client authorizes the office employee to take her time. Anyone can have a bad day, but this stops it from getting worse and may even make it better.

Each of us has the ability to enhance each others' lives by knowledge and kindness. Our ability to express our humanity, whether it's a friend, family member, coworker, or stranger. We're all about it.
